About the Show
A Mendocino treasure for 30 years, Sherry Glaser returns for ONE NIGHT ONLY to offer her timeless one-woman show, OH MY GODDESS!
This comedy of biblical proportions answers the age old question, “Where do we come from?”
According to Sherry’s character, Ma, we all come from her because it's impossible to have “the father” without the Mother.
Telling her side of the Creation Story, she sets the record straight in simple, touching and hilarious concepts that were always right there in front of our eyes.

Sherry Glaser is originally from New York City has been doing comedy for over 40 years. She is the star and author of 4 one-woman shows:

Sherry is a published author of THE FIRST PRACTICAL HANDBOOK FOR CRAZY PEOPLE, her memoir FAMILY SECRETS, and MAMA’S 1ST POCKET CHICKTIONARY: TAKING THE DICK OUT OF DICTIONARY.
She is the founder of the Peace Advocacy group, Breasts not Bombs, and LOVE IN IT COOPERATIVE, now known as Sol D’ Mendocino, the first Cannabis dispensary in the village.
Sherry lives in Arlington Washington now and reads Tarot for her living.

Live Music Opener
R.O. Shapiro is a purveyor of original Americana music, carefully crafted and soulfully sung.
Originally from the very east end of Long Island, NY, he spent several years touring and recording with the acoustic trio Odell Fox. When the members of the group went their separate ways in 2017, R.O. settled down in Austin, TX, where he developed a full-band, electrified sound, as heard on his 2021 release King Electric Sessions.
A powerful performer of original heartfelt songs, and with a little bit of New York swagger and Texas twang, he’s drawn comparisons to Josh Ritter, Ray LaMontagne, and Nathaniel Rateliff.
R.O. is a winner of the 2022 Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk songwriting contest, has recently toured with May Erlewine and opened for Jackie Greene, and in September 2024 will release a two-song 45 he recorded with producer/instrumentalist Phil Cook (Bon Iver, Hiss Golden Messenger.)
He is in the Mendocino area for the summer helping to curate the music programming at Good Bones Kitchen in Caspar (formerly the Caspar Inn).

The Magic Meadow at Spirit Camp
Spirit Camp is a magical retreat center on Central Pomo land in the coastal redwoods of Albion/Little River newly opened in 2023 for healing retreats and community events.
We’re creating a spirit-centered, earth-based, queer-celebrated, and substance-free space for playful exploration and practice of self-healing, authentic connection, and emergent creative collaboration.

The walk from the parking lot to the meadow is flat and a short distance.
