Spirit Camp is a year-round retreat center for hire for yoga retreats. The cozy cabins are perfect for accommodating smaller groups of up to 20 yoga participants in the winter months. The redwood-lined camping meadow provides ample camping space to accommodate larger yoga retreat rental groups of up to 40 people in the warmer months. Set on 27 acres of private redwoods, it offers private hiking trails and nature escapes that change with the seasons.

The multiple gathering spaces provide warm yoga studio-like spaces with an abundance of skylights providing ample natural light even during the rainy months. The coastal fog dances through the ridge line of redwood trees adding a witchy magic that further invites in serene presence to any gathering. Regardless of the time of year, all gatherings here are magical. This newly renovated space is quickly becoming one of California’s best places to host a yoga retreat experience. Multifunctional Retreat Lodge; a Unique Space for North American Yoga Retreat Rentals

Our lodge is versatile and perfect for yoga workshops and yoga classes of various sizes. It comfortably accommodates 40 yoga mats. And when set up for dance or movement can easily fit 50 retreat participants moving about the space. It comes with equipment that makes it easy to set up for your Yoga instructional time during the retreat: back-jacks, a JBL sound system, and instructor headset mics.

The Sanctuary: A gorgeous serene space for Yoga and Healing Retreats

Originally a chapel, our sanctuary is now a peaceful haven for smaller yoga groups, fitting 10 to 14 mats. This is an especially perfect space in the Winter if you want a warm, sunlit space for a smaller more intimate yoga retreat or wellness gathering. If your yoga retreat group is larger than 15 then it would be best to host your main yoga instruction activities in the large. You can then use the sanctuary for seated activities as this space easily fits 20 retreat participants in heart circle or up to 40 for seated instruction time facing the instructor.

Spirit Camp can accommodate 10-40 people for overnight yoga retreat bookings. For day yoga events, we may be able to host larger groups, but parking is limited. During the winter and early spring is perfect for small yoga group retreats of up to 20 people. During the warmer months, Spirit Camp is perfect for mid-sized groups of up to 40 yoga retreat participants. This is when the camping meadow is open and accommodation expands beyond what is available in our cabins.

Are Spirit Camp's Retreat facilities suitable for small and midsized yoga group rentals?

Yes, our retreat center is perfect for yoga retreats of various sizes. With private and shared cabins, we can provide beds for 20 people. Additionally, our camping meadow, part of the retreat rental, can accommodate another 20 people for larger yoga groups of up to 40 overnight retreat participants.

The sun-filled Magic meadow is a perfect location for outdoor yoga surrounded by century-old redwood trees in all directions. Additionally, there is a large deck on the North side of the Spirit Camp lodge where approximately 20 yoga mats can be laid out, providing an additional space if you want to change up the various environments you facilitate in during a multiple-day immersive yoga retreat.

In addition to your yoga-focused activities the space makes it easy to host and activate additional activities for your gathering, hikes on the private redwood forest trails, ceremonies and singing around the campfire. When renting Spirit Camp for a yoga retreat, you will have access to floor cushions and blackjacks for sitting during instruction time, a sound system, and all the dining wear needed. We do ask that if you are having an activity such as yoga where people are sweating a lot individuals be asked to provide their own yoga mats. Though we do have yoga mats these are used for healing activities such as breathwork where sweat is not involved. We do not have specialized yoga equipment so please bring that with you.
