Spirit Camp is a curated space with a limited number of weekends each year. We host couples whose vision, values, and timing align with the land and the kind of celebration this place is built for.

We've shifted from quote requests to applications because this work is relational, not transactional. The application helps us find the right home for what you're creating.

Our Approach to Weddings

Community-Centered Connection. Weddings here are more than a party. They're about authentic joy and weaving your people together. Campfires, games, and heartfelt moments in the redwoods, memories that are playful, grounding, and deeply meaningful.
Slow, Intentional Celebrations. Spirit Camp invites you to slow down, be present, and savor your wedding weekend like a retreat. The pace is unhurried. The mornings are quiet. The conversations go deeper.
A Thoughtful Toast. Sobriety stays central, with a small, intentional allowance for the celebration itself.

Our Values

These three values shape every gathering at Spirit Camp, weddings included. We host weddings that share these values or actively honor them.

Reverence and Right Relationship. Spirit Camp is a healing space, not a hotel or resort. We ask everyone who comes here to bring awareness and care, with yourself, with each other, with the land, and with the more-than-human beings who live here. We're all learning this practice, ourselves included.
Sober-Centered Celebration, with a Thoughtful Toast. Weddings here are built for soulful, present, loving connection. We hold a sober-centered weekend so the full spectrum of family, friends, and nervous systems gathering here can land safely and be in real communion with each other. For the celebration itself, light beer and wine can be served through our licensed bar vendor, a way to honor a meaningful bottle or include relatives who'd expect a toast. Never self-serve, never the throughline of the weekend. Cannabis and other mind-altering substances aren't part of the picture, including microdosing and medicinal use.
Inclusive and Queer-Celebrated. Spirit Camp is a Brave Space that honors different lived experiences, celebrates LGBTQIA+ belonging, and welcomes families and communities who see difference as a bridge to deeper connection.

Occupancy

Summer (May–October): 50 overnight guests, 150 day guests

Winter (November–April): 35 overnight guests, 100 day guests

A Note on Catering

Catering is arranged separately from the venue rental and is not included in package pricing. One of our preferred local caterers is required for weddings, ensuring excellent service and quality. They handle vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and most dietary needs. You'll choose your caterer after booking.

Vendor Requirements

Wedding Coordinator. Required for groups over 75 guests. Choose from our two trusted local coordinators.
Catering. One of our preferred local caterers is required.
Bar Service. Light beer and wine can be served through our licensed bar vendor during the celebration itself only. Self-serve alcohol is not permitted at any time.

Submit an application through the link above. We review applications on a biweekly basis. You'll hear from us within 30 days.
If your dates are within the next 9 months, your response may come sooner. If your dates are further out or outside our current priorities, your response may come later in the 30-day window. Either way, we respond to every applicant.
Most couples apply 9 to 18 months ahead. Peak season weekends (May through October) often book a year or more out. Off-season weddings have more flexibility and shorter lead times.
Light use of low-ABV beverages, such as beer and wine, can be served through our licensed bar vendor during the wedding celebration only, never self-serve. Hard alcohol is not permitted. The rest of the weekend (rehearsal dinner, mornings, after-party) stays alcohol-free.
Cannabis and other mind-altering substances aren't part of the picture at any point during your stay, including microdosing and medicinal use.
Prescribed medications taken as directed are not what we mean, take care of yourself as your provider has guided you to.
The rental covers exclusive use of the venue, plus the lodging package you choose. Catering is arranged separately and is not part of the rental pricing. One of our preferred local caterers is required and they handle vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and most dietary needs.
Yes, up to our occupancy limits (150 day guests in summer). We do prioritize smaller, more intimate weddings, so larger weddings may have a longer review time.
Site visits are by appointment only and are typically scheduled after an initial application and call.
